Celebrating the Holidays with Our Developmental Disabilities Program

Earlier this December, our Developmental Disabilities program staff and the families they serve gathered  together at our annual holiday party! We were joined by Yoyo Yau, our agency’s new Executive Director, and many families have already asked when they will be able to see her again!

Lively Bingo games were played with case manager Chelsey Underwood spinning the wheel and Shealah Bunnell, an intern in our Adoption program, recording the letters and numbers. As usual, everyone was intent on their Bingo card hoping to be the first to yell: BINGO.

Between games, ‘name that holiday song’ was played to bring even more spirit into the room with many recognizing the songs within only a few notes. And no one left without their own ‘Decorate a Cookie’ kit, which included huge sugar cookies, frosting, and sprinkles. Holidays without cookies? Unheard of.

A good time was had by all!
