The Charlesbank Homes Foundation Supports Bathroom Renovations at TLC

We are grateful that the Charlesbank Homes Foundation has donated $42,500 to help us renovate the bathrooms at Teens Learning Choices (TLC), our group home for young women in foster care ages 16 to 22! Thanks to their generosity, we have recently completed the renovation of the second floor bathroom and are beginning work on the first floor.

The TLC bathrooms are getting a total facelift. We replaced the floors and painted the walls, installed new sinks and toilets, added individual lockers for each resident, and replaced the bathtubs with walk-in showers! In addition to looking fabulous, the bathrooms are also now more accessible for residents with disabilities.

“The bathrooms look amazing. The residents love it!” said TLC Program Director Karlah Paul.

Thank you to the Charlesbank Homes Foundation for funding this important transformation of the TLC home! We’re proud to offer our residents these greatly improved facilities, which will make their lives much more comfortable while they stay with us.
